If you reached this section, you may be interested in some of the book(s) I've made available for purchase... or maybe not ;)
I've added this autobiographical piece for the few people who are actually interested in the author - yes, perplexing to me as well. Who is this person? What is he like? Well, I'll do you a favour and keep this part real short. I'm Canadian, and can proudly say, a family man.
Why did I start writing? I have a confession. I don't consider myself a writer - more so a story-teller. I like (the idea of) painting pictures but since I really can't paint, I write stories instead. But as any writer will tell you, write it once, write it 100 times. Edit everything, over and over, and over. Once I'm done my amazing wife then pitches in and shows me what a crappy editor I really am (lol).
A good friend of mine, and author, (Chris Campbell, aka Norman Christof ) urged me to self-publish. It took me a while but I managed to finish that second novel. I have to say, it's great having vehicles such as Amazon/Kindle Direct Publishing to open the door for individual creation. Such is the true spirit of discovery, the very foundation of the ideology that we need to propel us outward into the stars.
On a less serious note, I'm fairly "handy" and have spent a large portion of my life wrestling with machines (both electronic and mechanical in nature). There's one thing I've come to realize: our machines have a tendency to break. When in space this reliance we have on our creations may be our undoing.
Consider all the tales that have yet to be told upon a canvas that has no limitations. How can one not love science fiction?
There are so many stories out there, including ideas beyond science and technology, ideas that can make one really think. Science fiction can provide a positive dialogue to our future, present something more amazing, more unimaginable, than any of us could dream.
If you get a chance... take it.
